Next we’re going to look at buying professionally. Later we’ll look at selling, but for now we’ll stick to buying.

As you browse the endless number of badly listed and misspelled items selling on eBay, you might feel tempted to throw in a bid right away. One word of advice: Don’t.
I always leave my bidding until the very end of an auction. In fact, I bid at the very last second. This is known as sniping. By bidding early on, I find that I needlessly drive up the price and often get caught up in a bidding war with another eBayer
The only exception is when I find a misspelled item with a low starting price that has been selling for a while on eBay and received no bids. In a case like this, I will place a low bid before the seller notices his or her mistake and corrects the spelling error. (Once an auction has received a bid it cannot be changed.)
To place a bid in the final seconds of an auction you can either sit at your computer, with your finger hovering over the enter key, or you can become an auction sniper%u2026
Auction Sniper is an amazing automated eBay sniper that places a bid for you in the final seconds of an auction - and you don’t even need to be at your computer as the listing ends!

Signing up for Auction Sniper is easy (it takes about a minute) and can be done by copying and pasting the URL above.
Your first three snipes are free. After that you pay a small charge by adding a credit card or you can earn more free snipes by introducing your friends to Auction Sniper.
When you sign up for Auction Sniper, you will be asked for your eBay username and password. Don’t let this worry you - Auction Sniper uses a safe and secure automated system to access your eBay account and bid for you.
I am a habitual sniper and use Auction Sniper every day. At any one time I have up to 50 items ready for sniping.
When I find a misspelled or badly listed item that I think I can make money from, I do my pricing research first (see Step Twelve) and then I immediately add the item to my sniping list by copying and pasting the item number and telling Auction Sniper how much I would like my maximum bid to be.
After that I forget about the item until the auction ends and I look for other money making items. I can relax, knowing I have given Auction Sniper the amount I think I can pay and still make a profit and knowing that Auction Sniper will not bid any higher.
If another eBayer places a bid greater than the price I have set, Auction Sniper will email me to let me know and I can change my bid or forget about the snipe. I will almost always forget the item - I am forever aware of the fact that I am buying to make a profit and I know how much I can afford to pay.
It may take a while until you get used to sniping. Once you’ve sniped a couple of auctions, check out the bidding lists of the items you have purchased.
It won’t be long until you see other eBayers who have discovered the same bargain as you, stuck in a bidding war, frantically trying to place the final bid, when suddenly and out of nowhere - BAM! - your snipe comes in at the last second.
Don’t worry about competing with other auction snipers - there are hundreds of millions of eBayers and only a fraction of them know anything about Auction Sniper.
In the time I have been operating this system, I have been outbid by other auction snipers just a few dozen times, although with the sale of this guide that might be about to change%u2026
If you’re not yet convinced about sniping, listen to what the experts are saying -
“Sniping is nothing less than an online-auction cultural phenomenon.” - AuctionBytes
“By becoming a sniper, you can prevent those all too common emotional bidding wars.” - Auction Insights
“It really is an actual rush%u2026″ - eBay for Dummies
AuctionSniper isn’t the only sniping system; there are many other auction snipers around, some of them offering free snipes try a few until you find the one you like best.
