Domestic Cheats
HELP!!!
Everyone knows and agrees that being a parent and a homemaker and also working/studying are JUST TOO MUCH.
Now, I have my little Domestic Cheats that I use to make life easier. And Im sure you do too. So guys, this is the section where I want you to please contribute an idea….
Something I can use to make my life easier. And let’s have a laugh as well.
Im going to kick off with:
Dinner
I remember the good old days when it didnt matter how long it took to make dinner.
Shopping at a number of shops to get the EXACT right ingredients was not only normal, it was enjoyable. Heck, we could take all day to do that.
Then, I had a baby. Suddenly, my time-frame for making dinner was radically slashed…to 30min. I decided that if I couldnt get a recipe made in 30-min, Go to Whoa, then that recipe had to Go.
Ha ha ha. THOSE were the good old days. An extra child and many years later, I’ve narrowed it down to a lot less than 30 minutes. Being on my own with the kids wore me down. For a long time they would only eat the most boring things, like spaghetti bolognese and salad over and over. Now I’m ecstatic to find they will eat Thai, Indian, and all kinds of things. But it still doesnt change the fact that theyre kids, and at 6pm sometimes they are committing WWIII on each other because they need to eat.
